Kanani Mahelona is a Manhattan-based apparel technology consultant, designer, writer, photographer, activist and lover of art, interior design, textiles, architecture, fashion, history, politics, food, travel, theater, film, dance, green living, yoga and family and friends.
Born in Honolulu and raised in Dallas in a tightly-knit family of creative and loving people, he currently lives with his partner of 16 years, Ralph Wynn, (and closets full of fabric) in the West Manhattan neighborhood of Hell’s Kitchen.
